The new Connected Experiences team will help brands navigate "always-on" consumer landscape.

Periscope is welcoming some of the first members of our growing Connected Experiences team and we couldn’t be happier about it. So what does the team mean for Periscope? As highlighted in Adweek, it shows we are “making a commitment to infuse emerging tech—including virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence—in every aspect of [our] creative work.” You can read more in both the Adweek feature article, and in The Drum.

We heart all of these tech geeks:

Morgan Zuehlke, Director of Connected Experiences

Morgan’s career began with managing new media marketing, community development and interactive experiences for record labels and artist management firms in Nashville and Los Angeles. Over the past 15 years, she’s brought her passion for creative problem solving to clients from startups to Fortune 50 companies, pioneering UX, strategy, product and digital experience design for a diverse list of brands that includes Indian Motorcycles, Polaris, Best Buy, Discovery Channel, the Tennessee Supreme Court, eBay, Sprint, Samsung and HP. In Morgan’s entertainment industry portfolio are such clients as the Dixie Chicks, Capitol Records, Kelly Clarkson, Papa Roach, Hannah Montana, the Country Music Association, Dierks Bentley and Ticketmaster.

Morgan gets a surge of dopamine every time she sees the “OMG that’s it!” moment happen for a client. She loves getting personal with people, so the best of those moments have happened in the least formal settings — like karaoke happy hour.

Jon Voth, Development Director
Over more than 10 years in the advertising and marketing industries, Jon has thrived in the space between creative and technology, bringing big ideas to life with technical solutions.

Jon has helped guide projects from creative ideation to technical execution for clients such as Cargill, Hormel Foods, the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation, Intel, Jamba Juice and Viacom. He has also helped guide future creative technologists through his adjunct faculty role at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.

Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in professional journalism from the University of Minnesota, which launched him on his path of perpetual learning in the ever-changing field of web-based and internet-connected technologies. He loves cycling, astrophotography and finding new ways of adding value to people’s lives with technology.

Christopher Jensen, Senior Connected Experiences Architect
Christopher has spent the past decade as a strategist and creative technologist bringing to life large-scale brand and product experiences. Before joining Periscope, he led experience strategy at one of the largest independent software development agencies in the Midwest, serving as a consultant, lead UX designer and solutions architect on initiatives for brands like Google, Facebook, Purina, Estée Lauder, Cargill, Kohler and more. Before that, he ran marketing and creative for a successful data analytics startup now part of Aon Hewitt.

A student of aesthetics and impactful expression, Christopher has also written art criticism featured in major daily newspapers, nationally syndicated weeklies, and on commercial and public radio. An empath at heart, he loves immersing himself in foreign places, cultures and systems in order to better understand the macro-forces behind micro-moments. As a father of two, he’s always looking for ways to explain in simple terms why people do the seemingly crazy things they do.

AJ Scherbring, Creative Director
Nothing connects people more than truth, and AJ’s spent the last 13 years uncovering truths that can transform into powerful stories and experiences to bring people and brands together. He holds his own work to this standard, strives to instill it in teams as a creative director, and shares it with students as an adjunct faculty instructor and guest speaker.

AJ has created award-winning work for brands like Nintendo, Rolex, Johnson & Johnson, Alberto Culver, Burger King, Amtrak, InterContinental Hotels, H&R Block, Verizon and General Mills. He also organized and led one of the most well-received panels at the 2015 SXSW Interactive Festival on the topic of content, entitled “#nofilters: Pros and Cons of Constant Connection.”

A Minnesota native, AJ earned his degree in strategic communication and marketing from the University of Minnesota. To unplug, you can find him in the woods, on the water, on the trails or in his woodworking shop. But mostly, you’ll find him outside with his two young sons with a baseball and a box of bandages.

Dustin Joyce, Creative Director
In Dustin’s 12 years of experience, he has amassed a hybrid set of creative skills ranging from traditional art direction and design, to conceptual writing, to bleeding-edge digital, social and connected experiences. His unique combination of skills allows him to view business problems holistically and execute the wide variety of creative solutions needed. He loves connecting the dots and trying to find simple solutions to complex problems.

Dustin has put his versatile creative skills to work for many beloved brands, including American Express, Behr Paint, Buffalo Wild Wings, Finnegans Brew Co., Fossil watches, Founders Brewing Co., Sleep Number, UnitedHealth Group and the V Foundation. His work has been awarded and recognized by The Dieline, Communication Arts, The One Show and Awwwards Site of The Day. He has also been an instructor at Miami Ad School of Minneapolis and is a proud father of three.
