Media Post and Ad Age give accolades to new weirdly awesome creative featuring a kid with a flat-top cat condo and James Harden.
Yes, you read that right. In our new spot for Trolli, highlighted by Media Post, a weirdly awesome teen takes on James Harden’s infamous beard with his bizarre afro full of furry felines. (Or “ca-fro” as we like to call it.) And to top it off, the cats love Trolli Sour Brite Crawlers just like James.
This new commercial launches on the coattails of the announcement of a new partnership with James Harden. A second spot, focuses on a teen girl admiring the outrageous ca-fro her fellow high-school student has and striking up a friendship. This spot was highlighted by Ad Age as one of the five most digitally engaging spots on TV and was the only one of the five that did not include a celebrity.
What’s next for the ever-evolving, innovative candy brand? A new product launch with Harden, Sour Brite Weird Beards, exclusively available at 7-Eleven starting in May, that we can’t wait to get our "paws" on.
