The latest holiday earworms are coming from Periscope and the Minnesota Lottery

The holiday season — a time of year when we reminisce about good memories, create new ones and stress over gift-giving. The Minnesota Lottery knows that a simple, crowd-pleasing gift is a scratch game or lottery ticket, but this year, Periscope wanted to help the lottery also give a gift of music. To celebrate the cold weather (if you live north enough!), the agency created an original album, “A Whole Lotto Holiday,” featuring imaginative lyrics woven throughout every genre, from country to hip-hop.

Shoutouts from City Pages and FOX 9 continue to drive attention to the album, but there is nothing quite like experiencing “the year’s most fire holiday mixtape” yourself. The album is part of a larger creative campaign for the Minnesota Lottery that includes social media, digital buys and even a Time Life-esque album video.
