Liz Grabek joins agency as SVP Consumer Strategy

Periscope tackles 2021 with a renewed focus on strategic client partnerships based on new market demands. To lead the effort, the agency is excited to announce the addition of Liz Grabek to the team as SVP Consumer Strategy. Grabek most recently served as VP of Strategy at independent agency space150.

At Periscope, Grabek will reshape and refocus the agency’s strategic offering. She will report to Cari Bucci-Hulings, Periscope’s president.

“Liz has a strong understanding of how to develop and apply data powered solutions, a fascination with people, and the ability to help brands be successful by connecting deeply with consumers in compelling and relevant ways.” Cari Bucci-Hulings, Periscope president

“Liz will help us continue our commitment to uncovering authentic opportunities that drive unprecedented results,” Bucci-Hulings said.

Grabek has led strategy and insights teams at renowned agencies in the U.S., including ICF Next (formerly Olson) and Carlson Marketing. She has also helped companies like General Mills, UnitedHealthcare, Bissell, Zillow, Target, Procter & Gamble and P.F. Chang’s reinvent their brands and galvanize their workforces to stay relevant in a changing world.

“It is an exciting time to join Periscope,” said Grabek. “I am thrilled to be part of the agency’s shift towards this strategic focus as it reshapes into a more modern agency model.”

Bringing Grabek to the team is just the beginning of strategic change for Periscope. Victor Kimble, SVP Business & Brand Leadership, will lead the transformation of the agency’s account management team into business partners for clients. The combined leadership of Grabek and Kimble with Chief Creative Officer Peter Nicholson positions Periscope well to identify and activate opportunities to drive growth on their behalf.

As part of Quad, a worldwide marketing solutions partner, Periscope has bolstered its analytic, content production and retail customer experience at a competitive global level. The maturing partnership between Quad and Periscope has already led to new business wins for Regis Corporation and OneAmerica.

“When we are able to look deeply and honestly at what is happening, we can challenge ourselves to embrace constant change and imagine a path to a new future for a brand,” said Bucci-Hulings. “Liz, Victor and Peter will elevate the intelligent creativity we provide our clients, so we continue to bring measurable, attributable growth to their businesses.”
