The first thing you might notice about Bob is his hair. Move beyond that and you have a guy who’s driven to see Periscope’s clients succeed.
Since joining the agency nine years ago, Bob has managed some of Periscope's biggest accounts. In addition, he also manages the agency's Insight & Innovation group as well as brings a fun spirit to Periscope's halls.
One of Bob's proudest accomplishments is building Periscope's relationship with Cox Communications. A relationship that has seen Cox's business grow from 25,000 customers to over a quarter million in just
8 years.
Bob's second-greatest accomplishment? He's never called in sick. Not once. Ever.
Behind the mantra "design is a verb, not a noun," Bruce manages and directs Periscope's print-design discipline. His team's expertise includes concepting and executing identity systems, brochures, kits, posters, packaging, in-store materials and much, much more.
Bruce has received multiple awards and has been recognized by The Show, the AIGA and the Clio Awards. To fuel his creativity, Bruce dabbles in a variety of extracurricular activities including cryptography, historical research and a wee bit of lead guitar.
Bonus fact: Bruce is supposedly related to Revolutionary War hero Nathan Hale ... but suspects his grandma may be making stuff up.
Dona specializes in being a people person. Besides her HR duties, Dona manages the Fun Committee to bring laughs and moments of levity to Periscope's folks.
Although she has worked here for over five years, one of Dona's proudest moments at Periscope happened in late 2009 when the agency was named one of the "Best Places To Work" by the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
Bonus tidbit: Dona remembers names. Even the names of employee's dogs.

Behind this approach, Charlie oversees creative work for Papa Murphy's, Red Robin and the Minnesota Twins but is involved with most of Periscope's clients in one form or another. In addition, he is very involved in new business.
Over his 15 years at Periscope, Charlie has developed relationships with both employees and clients — many of whom he considers some of his closest friends.
Outside of work, Charlie's goals include getting a hit off a major league pitcher and continuing to feel like a 22-year-old trapped in a 45-year-old's body.
With over 30 years of experience in production, Kim ensures that all projects are completed accurately, efficiently and timely. She also does meticulous research to stay on the forefront of the latest software and equipment.
Kim is an expert in prepress file preparation and typography. As a manager, she prides herself in balancing workloads and maintaining a low-stress approach with her employees.
And now for something completely different: Kim hates squash... even though she has never tried it.
Shannan leads Periscope’s team of trained Broadcast negotiators and planners — a team that is proficient on both a local and national level. In fact, Shannan believes so highly in her team that she "would put their record of negotiations and posting up against anyone in the industry."
Beyond overseeing her team, Shannan has expertise in buying network cable, spot TV, cable and radio. She also leads overall media strategy and development for many Periscope clients.
On a completely off-the-topic note, Shannan loves, loves, loves Kenny Rogers. She admits that it's a little weird but hey, why not?
Help our clients. It’s a simple maxim but one that Joe embodies. Sometimes it might mean providing an outside perspective. Proposing an against-the-grain creative solution. Or a helping them with something that has nothing to do with advertising or branding.
Behind this mentality, Joe leads Periscope’s engagement efforts for Red Robin and Papa Murphy’s with strategic brand marketing, brand revitalization and integrated communications. He also excels at fostering relationships within the agency to help ensure a smooth, steady work process.
Joe also has an unsettling knowledge of '70s music and baseball. You’ve been warned.
The titles above are just the beginning. Mark is also Periscope’s Chief Integration Officer and works collaboratively with our Advertising, Design and Digital groups to turn creativity into a strategic advantage.
Mark's expertise includes consumer durables, high-tech B2B, consumer packaged goods and the service industry. In addition, his art direction has been recognized in every major industry award show.
He also loves sawdust. In fact, he loves it so much that he wishes there was a sawdust-scented cologne.
An eleven-year veteran of Periscope, Virginia looks out for all things financial with the agency, both internally and externally. She approaches each day with a simple maxim: solid, reliable financial performance is vital not only to our company, but to our clients as well.
Virginia is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of AAAA (American Association of Advertising Agencies) Agency Finance Committee. She is also a member of both AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and Minnesota Society of CPAs.
Sure, the above is impressive. But let's take it up a notch: Virginia is also a national trap and skeet shooting champion. In fact, she was featured in People magazine for setting a record at the World Skeet Shooting Championships.
Patti counts her group’s ability to always get the job done — despite tight timelines, budgets and resources — as one of her proudest accomplishments. She also prides herself on maintaining strong vendor relationships which has proven to be an enormous catalyst to the Broadcast group’s success.
Yet Patti does have one weakness: pickles. She plain hates them. In fact, she won’t even allow them in her refrigerator. Go figure.
For over 25 years, Mary has rolled up her sleeves and developed award-winning work in the printing, publishing, prepress, direct mail, catalog, retail and magazine industries. Whew! That's a lot of industries.
Mary works with Target, United Health Group and Arctic Cat while also seamlessly working with Periscope's overseas offices to ensure our high production values and smooth work-flow.
She is also Brett Favre's #1 fan — not only because of his legacy with her Green Bay Packers but also because of the infectious passion he brings to his team.
Tom wrangles all things media for Periscope’s clients. That often means looking beyond traditional solutions to find a media mix that is both impactful and measurable. Especially in an era where consumers take greater control over when, where and how they engage with brands.
Tom's accomplishments at Persicope include helping Metro Transit increase public transit use despite fare increases, building Arctic Cat market share in the extremely competitive ATV category, and growing the Media group's digital capabilities and resources.
If he wasn't in advertising, Tom would be a paranormal investigator with his own show on the SyFy Channel.
Sanjay oversees Periscope's India office in regard to printing, packaging, business development and vendor development.
During his first year at Periscope, Sanjay oversaw shipping of Target Global Bazaar packaging. A daunting task — made even more so by the fact that most of his team members were new and needed on-the-job training. Managing both employees and vendors, Sanjay was able to successfully ship all packaging on time and prevent cost overruns.Sanjay follows money markets with a keen eye and would like to have a beer with Warren Buffet to discuss current market direction.
Joo Huh
A member of Periscope’s Insight & Innovation group, Joo is responsible for quantitative and qualitative research to drive effective business, marketing and communications strategies.
Joo primarily works with Metro Transit, Gold'n Plump, Char-Broil and Rust-Oleum. Her expertise includes gaming, entertainment, food and beverage, financial institutions and nonprofits.
She was also on a reality show once. Which one? You'll just have to ask her yourself.
