In September, I had the experience of a lifetime, putting together and tour-guiding a group of world-class bmx riders and skateboarders as they put on demos for troops currently serving in Iraq. It's hard to sum up a tour like this, but X-Games medalist, Brian Kachinsky, wrote a blog for Transworld BMX that I think does as good of a job as anything I've seen in describing life for a soldier.
