Joe Harrington Joins Periscope As VP/Management Supervisor

Periscope is proud to announce that Joe Harrington will join the agency July 21st as Vice President/Management Supervisor. A highly respected agency veteran, Joe’s immediate responsibility will be managing Periscope’s restaurant business.

Most recently, Joe served as SVP, Director of Account Management at Martin/Williams. During his 16-year career at M/W, Joe led a 26-person account management department and led agency engagement on a number of major accounts including Donato’s Pizza, Cargill, Raymond James and KeyBank. He was also instrumental in several successful new business efforts for M/W including Cellular South and Steelcase. Joe’s strong background in retail, including a degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, will be a great asset to Periscope, which has an exceptional retail competency and client base.

Behind Joe’s success is a simple mantra: at the core of what we do is being helpful to our clients.

“Often that means providing outside perspective and creative solutions,” said Harrington. “But, just as often, it also means simply getting things done and helping them figure out things that don’t have anything to do with advertising or branding. My approach is to assist the client and those around me on all fronts.”

It’s an approach that has helped him rise in both the industry and in the eyes of his colleagues.

“Periscope conducted an extensive, national search and Joe clearly rose to the top among an impressive list of candidates based on his strong retail competency and cultural fit for the agency,” said Greg Kurowski, President & CEO for Periscope.  “We couldn’t be more thrilled to have him join our team.”

Joe’s experience with managing, recruiting and developing staff as well as his collaborative approach with media, digital, creative and planning will be a strong asset and logical fit within Periscope’s vertically integrated business model and fulfilling the agency’s mission of “Client Success.”
