Periscope and the Center for Living Peace Debut Website

Good happens.

Sure, it’s a simple thought. But one that’s laden with hope and possibility.

That’s why it seemed like a natural theme line for Periscope’s partnership with the Center For Living Peace, Orange County — an organization dedicated to bringing children, families and people of all ages together to discover their strengths and values, as well as their responsibilities to a better world.

To celebrate this partnership, Periscope and CLP recently unveiled www.goodhappens.org. The website chronicles the Center’s mission and community events centered around the organization’s core beliefs. Future iterations of the site will showcase good deeds around the Orange County, California region and CLP’s involvement in them.

“It was important to stand out from the multitude of other goodwill organizations,” said Sonia Hagensick, Periscope Senior Digital Developer. “We wanted CLP to be known for doing instead of talking and made that a centerpiece of our approach.”

Besides the website, Periscope also created CLP’s promotional materials — including business cards, letterhead and more. In fact, for CLP’s logo, Periscope added a very personal touch.

“The Center is very near and dear to all involved,” said Marie Bushbaum, Periscope Digital Designer. “To reflect this, we took the thumbprints of two of the founders — Kelly Smith and Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche — and made a heartshape out of them. They were so happy, we decided to use it as their logo.”

Stay tuned for more Periscope and CLP news in the coming months.
