You can never have enough eyes on consumer culture. Especially in-house.
Which is precisely why Periscope is happy to bring Michelle Brintnall aboard its Insight & Innovation group as an Insight Champion.
Brintnall’s main role will be hunting and gathering insights, translating them into brilliant strategies and championing them to both internal and external audiences. All in an effort to connect with audiences in meaningful ways that both clients and potential clients can utilize for both short- and long-term success.
“I like to think of myself as a resource of ‘here and now,’ ” said Brintnall. “Part of the Insight Champion role is to be the eyes and ears of culture and find ways to make it relevant to Periscope’s clients. Sometimes it might be watching where people spend money. Other times, how customers are affected by economic factors. It might even be forecasting how much ‘green’ initiatives will impact our clients’ bottom lines. Regardless, it’s a holistic approach and one that can benefit both the agency and our clients.”
Prior to joining the agency, Brintnall was a Senior Business Analyst at Target. While there, she provided analysis and insights to ensure each retail location had the optimal merchandise mix to maximize sales.
“I made the switch to Periscope because I wanted to challenge myself creatively at a strategic level,” said Brintnall. “That, combined with the spirit and attitude of the agency, made it very easy to come here.”
Brintnall is an alumnus of Notre Dame and wears her Fightin’ Irish spirit with pride. In fact, her office is strewn with Notre Dame gear including towels, pennants…even a mouse pad.
“If there was ever a motto, Notre Dame’s ‘Play Like A Champion Today’ says it all,” said Brintnall. “And that’s exactly the attitude I’ll bring to Periscope every day.”
