In the wake of the disastrous earthquake, people from around the world helped out best they could. Doctors raced down to Haiti to lend their services. Philanthropic companies, including Periscope, donated money to causes linked with disaster relief. And several compassionate Periscopians designed posters for the Haiti Poster Project.
The Haiti Poster Project is a collaborative effort by the design community whose goal is to help raise money for disaster relief through their work. And here at Periscope, a group of creatives donated their time and talent to create limited edition posters that could be purchased online, with all the proceeds going to Doctors Without Borders.
"For us, it was about giving back," said designer Michelle Rollins. "We aren't able to leave our jobs for months at a time to help out in person, so this project was the next best thing. It was a great way for us to use our talents to communicate that there is still a great need for help."
