Wanna know what Periscope can do for your career? Just ask Drew Brees.

First, the New Orleans Saints Quarterback is in a Periscope TV commercial for Cox Communications. Then, he just so happens to win the Super Bowl.

Coincidence? We think not.

The Cox TV spots, featuring the Super Bowl MVP, mix fun football analogies with the benefits of Cox Internet, digital cable and bundled services.

According to Account Supervisor Amber Graves, Brees was as professional on the sound stage as he was on Super Bowl’s center stage.

“Drew Brees was fantastic to work with,” said Graves. “He’s very much a regular, down-to-earth guy. He was very enthusiastic about being there, and worked really hard to make the scripts his own."

And it showed. The end result was an ad campaign worthy of MVP status. Just like its starring quarterback.

So it’s clear: After working with Periscope, good things happen. Maybe not a Super Bowl ring. But at least you’ll get some great ads out of the deal.
