The holiday season is a time of laughter, joy and sharing with those less fortunate. And once again, Periscope helped spread a little holiday cheer by donating gifts to Toys for Tots.
The mission of Toys for Tots is to help less fortunate children throughout the United States experience the joy of Christmas.
And Periscopians were dedicated in doing their part.
According to Periscope’s Toys for Tots organizer Shanna Haugland, the toy drive was a tremendous success.
“We are overwhelmed by the generosity of our coworkers. Over 150 toys were donated. Even during difficult economic times, they have delivered on the true meaning of the holidays and have brightened the lives of children on Christmas morning,” Haugland said.
Along with all the donations, another giving moment came when our own Shannan Cranbrook, Tina Brobjorg, Robin Pfeifer, Shanna Haugland and spokesperson Aaron Martin dropped off gifts live on KARE 11 News.
It was truly a special event. And to all who donated their time, effort and gifts … great job!
