The news of the post-earthquake devastation in Haiti was sobering: countless lives lost, thousands more injured, homes irreparably damaged and businesses destroyed. From every corner of the planet, strangers raised their hands, and their voices, offering to help however they could. It was no different here at Periscope.
Shortly after the tragic events of January 12, the word went out at Periscope that donations were being accepted to support the relief efforts. All monies received were collected on behalf of and directed to the Clinton-Bush Haiti Fund.
Over a period of two weeks more than $5,000 was collected. In addition to the generous individual outpouring from the Periscope team, CEO Greg Kurowski informed the staff that the agency would be matching all contributions, bumping the total past the $10,000 mark.
"It's so gratifying to see our culture galvanize around such a necessary cause," shared Greg. "I am not surprised by their response, only humbled."
