Attention, Internet: Snark is over. Negativity is dead. Pessimism is so 2008. What sounded the death knell for doom and gloom? The launch of Great Clips’ new EverythingGreat.com, a website focused on sharing the great all around us.
To Great Clips, great is about more than haircuts. Each Great Clips salon is dedicated to building relationships within their community. These community relationships inspired the formation of the Great Squad, an exclusive group of Great Clips stylists, managers and franchisees who act as on-the-ground reporters to share the great things happening in their salons and neighborhoods. These Great Stories are shared on EverythingGreat.com and through the brand’s Facebook and Twitter profiles, helping to spread positive news across the entire Great Clips community.
The site also features stories from a select group of Great Bloggers, hand-picked by the brand to share their unique voices and great stories—from navigating your way through the Terrible Twos to making the perfect marshmallow from scratch.
“What truly sets Great Clips apart from their competitors is their commitment to building relationships within their communities,” said Periscope’s Director of Community Rebecca Lunna. “Everything Great helps support the great things happening with these offline relationships by sharing them with the broader online Great Clips community. The response to each story shows the value of using social media to shine the spotlight on the people who are making this world a greater place.”
Beyond great stories, the site features family-friendly Great “Clips” videos and an area dedicated to contests and giveaways from Great Clips and their brand partners.
Have something great of your own to share? You can visit www.EverythingGreat.com and submit your own Great Story or favorite video for consideration as a Great “Clip”.
