Periscope helps Arctic Cat achieve snow "Pro"fection.

“THE WAIT IS OVER.” That’s what thousands of Arctic Cat® enthusiasts declared after the unveiling of the all-new 2012 ProCross™ and ProClimb™ chassis snowmobiles at this year’s dealer show in Nashville. Arguably the most anticipated innovation in Arctic Cat’s 50-year history, the all-new Pro chassis is a combination of three legendary Arctic Cat chassis: the Sno Pro® race chassis, the M Chassis and the Twin Spar™ chassis. And the folks up in Thief River Falls are very excited about it. Periscope’s job was to create an exciting campaign for the ProCross and ProClimb snowmobiles, emphasizing technology, ride precision and a cool new look. All mediums were enforced, from print to digital. 

And according to Management Supervisor Dean Dutcher, generating social buzz was crucial. “We knew there was tremendous interest in the pending new models,” said Dutcher. “To answer this demand, tease interest, and increase our opt in email base, we put together a fun video series and pushed it out via email and the social sites.” These videos featured Carl, a hysterically misguided character who will do anything to see the new Arctic sleds. And the results were amazing. Arctic Circle™ membership increased 25% and Facebook likes went up 60% within days. And when fans got to see these machines in person, let’s just say expectations were not let down. Truly, the ProCross and ProClimb are the rides of a lifetime. So kudos to Arctic. And to all those involved making the 2012 snow launch such a huge success.
